Inspections / measurements

We are able to perform inspections and measurements on your engines and equipment. Inspection and measuring reports are necessary in order to predict maintenance and to prevent future failures. We also offer inspection reports to use for machinery purchases.

To perform our inspections and measurements we use the following special tools:

•  Digital video/photo endoscope, with these tools internal engine components can be monitored. Cilinderheads, valves, pistons and liners can be reviewed. Photos can be stored for reports to use for official inspections and Classe-surveys.
• Megger measurment unit, this unit is used to measure internal resistance of electrical components as generators and electromotors. Values measured below factory specifications indicate internal contamination or excessive wear.
• Bearing check vibration analyser,  this portable vibration analyser indicates excessive wear on roller/cone or ball-bearings. The analyser uses the "Shock Pulse Methode Measurement" in order to indicate the condition of these bearings.
• Caterpillar Electronic Technician, this tool enables us to log in the CAT Electronic Control Modules to perform diagnostic tests.
